What it is
Histdrop is a daily browser game that places you inside a single real historical moment. You get five choices that decide how the day plays out, and you can only play once per day. You know what happens next; the people around you don't.

Editor takes

“A daily memento mori with real stakes: one life, no retries, and the haunting weight of knowing what history has in store.”

“One attempt, no take-backs, and a 24-hour cooldown between runs — tight, punishing, and maybe too slow for those who want to retry.”
How to play
Read the opening scene of the day's historical moment, then make your five choices and lock them in. There are no retries or take-backs, so commit to each decision. When the drop is over, your result is shown and the next drop begins the following day.
Tips
- Use your knowledge of the event, but remember the people around you don't know what will happen.
- Read the scenario carefully before choosing; each choice can change the life you live.
- Don't expect to 'win' on the first try — one life per day means every drop is a one-shot.
- Come back daily if you want to keep your streak alive.
- After finishing, check yesterday's answers to see what actually happened.
