Editor takes

“A 30-page PDF with no art yet is a tough sell for a visual thinker; the A5 format is clean, but I'm waiting on those promised visuals to feel the cyberpunk.”

“The season/episode/scene structure gives solo play a real narrative shape, and the included pilot episode is a strong invitation to start writing your own dark future.”

“Scene-based sessions are easy to pick up and put down, but a static PDF means progress lives in your own notes rather than a save system — keep a bookmark handy.”

“The episode loop is a smart pacing mechanism, but with only a pilot episode included I can't yet tell if the long-term campaign progression holds up.”
How to play
You use the toolkit's tables and prompts to build scenes and determine outcomes for a solo character. The season/episode/scene structure gives your campaign a larger arc while keeping each session manageable. Since it's solo, you act as both player and GM, making decisions and checking tables as needed.
Tips
- Start with the included pilot episode to learn the season/episode/scene flow.
- Use the random tables to add a twist whenever a scene feels stuck.
- Keep a journal of characters and events so later episodes can reference them.
- Let the tables make decisions when you are unsure of what happens next.
- Treat the sample Season One as a template for your own campaign arcs.
