What it is
Hors Antenne is a short first-person horror game set in Fall 2004. You break into the shut-down Canal Est TV station to steal the tapes of a cancelled show, guided over the phone by Enzo. There is no combat; you face the dark with only a camcorder and your wits.

Atmospheric first-person horror. No weapons, no fighting: just the dark, and what your camera can't show.
Fall 2004. Canal Est shut down five days ago, after an accident on live TV. You break in at night to steal the tapes of "Hors Antenne", the show that aired what everyone else cut. Enzo guides you over the phone. According to him, there's no one left.

A game by Jules and Enzo. Thanks to William Vasseur for his fantastic 3D work.
Editor takes

“Atmospheric found-footage with a human voice on the phone and a 15-20 minute run; the brevity doesn't leave much room for the dread to build.”

“Great 2004 retro setting and the camcorder frame is right, but the in-development build still needs audio to sell those empty corridors.”

“Clear verbs: film, interact, run, crouch, call; no combat, so the puzzle is observation, and 15-20 minutes leaves no room for cheap scares.”

“WASD, Shift to run, C to crouch and controller support are solid, but a 15-20 minute found-footage sprint lives or dies on camera response and movement weight.”
How to play
Move with WASD or ZQSD, look with the mouse, and interact with E. Right-click to film, Shift to run, C to crouch, and T to call Enzo. A controller is also supported.
Tips
- Call Enzo with T when you need direction; his guidance is the only thing pointing you through the building.
- Use Shift to run when something gets close, but don't forget you can crouch with C to keep out of sight.
- Film with right-click whenever you need to use the camcorder; it is your main tool for facing the dark.
- The station is easy to get lost in, so pay attention to landmarks and retrace your steps if you are disoriented.
- Play with headphones in a quiet room; the sound design carries much of the atmosphere.
