Editor takes
“Combat feel is the weak link — one player already calls killing enemies 'extremely frustrating' — and with only WASD+mouse there's no aiming depth to save it.”
“For 20–30 minutes, the dark atmosphere and environmental storytelling punch above their weight; AI-assisted graphics and sounds keep it from feeling fully handcrafted though.”
“It's a strictly linear one-sitting thriller with no branching runs or build variety, so once Jake's debt is settled there's little reason to go again.”
“On Windows you can knock it out in a single 20–30 minute commute sitting, but there's no mobile/touch option and no mid-run save if the bus ends early.”
How to play
Move with WASD and look around with the mouse. Use E to interact, Shift to run, and the left mouse button to attack when facing enemies. Explore environments, talk to characters, and make your way through the story while dealing with melee and firearm combat.
Tips
- Pay attention to dialogue and environmental details, as the story is the main focus.
- Use Shift to run when moving between locations, especially if you're trying to keep pace with the narrative.
- Manage combat carefully; melee and firearm encounters can be frustrating, so try to engage on your own terms.
- Since the game is short, take your time to explore each area for extra context and atmosphere.
- Expect a dark, tense tone rather than a power fantasy—avoid rushing into fights if you can.
