What it is
TIBERAVA is a browser-based Roman city-builder set in Italy around 50 BC. You grow a small settlement into a lasting city while managing population, food, treasury, happiness, and occasional catastrophes. It is designed for desktop browsers and mobile devices.

Editor takes

“The guided tasks make the rules approachable, but the real strategy is buried in menus; the aha moments come from placement, not clever deduction.”

“Starting with 3,600 denarii and 190 food but zero population makes early progression a waiting game; the monthly ticks will decide if the loop holds.”

“Touch-to-build and hold-to-inspect feel responsive, but there’s no fail state or timer to optimize — this is a city builder for patience, not speed.”
How to play
Tap a category in the build menu — City, Food, Services, Industry, Culture — and place buildings, preferably along roads. Keep an eye on the resource panel for denarii, population, food, and happiness, and follow the in-game guide and diary tasks at your own pace. Holding or tapping a building may show more information about it.
Tips
- Start by placing a house next to a road to complete the first guide task and earn the 600-denarii reward.
- Balance food and service buildings so population and happiness don't stall.
- Check the Suggestions and city diary regularly to see what your settlement needs next.
- Keep food reserves and treasury in mind even during calm periods, since catastrophes are part of the game.
- On mobile, rotate your device to horizontal mode for a wider view of your city.
