What it is
The Cat Did It is a cozy 3D physics sandbox where you play as a cat in a tidy house and cause as much chaos as possible. The owner is somewhere nearby, and at the end of the afternoon you get a bill listing everything you broke or dragged around.
From the developer
In the developer’s own words, from amygood.itch.io.
She keeps a beautiful house.
Linen on the sofa. A mug of coffee on the low table. Plants by the window. A stack of books, all facing the same way.
You are the cat.

Knock it off the table. Mugs, vases, plates, candles, the fruit bowl. Everything here can fall, and almost all of it breaks.
Make it worse. Pull the tablecloth. Topple the bookshelf. Tip the plant into the robot vacuum's path and let it do the rest. Drag the toilet paper through three rooms.
Don't get caught. She is somewhere in the house. If she sees you, she scoops you up and sets you back on the sofa. Be cute and she might forget why she came over.
Then read the bill. At the end of the afternoon she leaves a note on the fridge: every broken thing, every paw print, every metre of toilet paper, and a total. Make a before and after card and see how you rate. Mild inconvenience? Natural disaster?
Choose Prince the tuxedo, shy Marmalade, or make a cat that looks like yours. The house changes every afternoon.
Free, in your browser, on phone or computer. Nothing to download. No account.

This is an early version and it will keep growing. Tell me your cat's worst habit in the comments. It might become the next mission.

Editor takes

“The bill and before/after card give a neat score, but with no persistent upgrades and a few-minute session, the loop is more a vignette than a long-term sim.”

“The rules are instantly readable and the 'don't get caught' constraint turns chaos into a fair, earned challenge, though it's more toy than puzzle.”
How to play
Move with WASD or arrow keys, or use the on-screen joystick on touchscreen devices. Jump with Space, use your paw with E, drag to look around, and press N to nap and end the afternoon. Knock objects off tables, pull the tablecloth, topple shelves, and avoid being seen by the owner.
Tips
- Start with small items like mugs and plates to build up a mess quickly.
- Pulling the tablecloth can knock off several objects at once.
- Tip a plant into the robot vacuum's path and let it spread the mess.
- Drag toilet paper through multiple rooms to really run up the bill.
- If the owner catches you, be cute — she may forget why she came over.
