Editor takes
“Haunting little VN that builds dread through restraint; the stranger's secrecy and buried-facility premise linger, even if 30 minutes is a brief stay.”
“No mechanical tricks here—just clear visual-novel choices leading to three endings, and the lurking mystery is fair game for replay.”
“Haunting hand-painted art and a dreadful soundtrack give the buried facility real atmosphere, with particle effects adding quiet menace throughout.”
“For a one-month jam game, this packs a complete, atmospheric story with three endings and strong art—exactly the focused scope jams should strive for.”
How to play
Read through the story as a researcher navigating life in the Institute before and after the emergency. At key moments, make choices that determine how the plot unfolds and which of the three endings you reach. The game is fully mouse- or touch-click based and runs in the browser.
Tips
- Pay close attention to dialogue and atmosphere; much of the horror is built through tone and implication.
- If the game supports save slots, use them before major decisions so you can revisit other endings.
- The stranger's behavior is deliberately suspicious; keep track of what he says and what he avoids saying.
- Play in a quiet environment to get the intended dreadful, haunting atmosphere.
- Be aware of the content warnings before playing, especially the flashing imagery.
