Return to Sender is a free browser arcade game about a royal mail knight climbing a fallen castle using only a shield. You reflect arrows, knock enemies into pits or spikes, and fight through locked rooms to reach the Monarch on floor 9.

Your only weapon is a shield. Return to Sender is a free retro arcade game with a devilishly hard difficulty progression. You can play in your browser: send arrows back, knock enemies into pits, and climb nine floors to beat Ironhide.

How to play
Move to aim; your shield always faces the direction you are moving. Shots that hit it head-on fly back at the shooter, while angled hits glance off at an angle, and melee hits knock both you and the enemy back. Clear every room to unlock the stairs, and double-tap when the gold ring is full to use a special move.
Tips
- Walk toward incoming arrows so they hit your shield head-on and return to the shooter.
- Use angles to deflect shots into other enemies or hazards instead of straight back.
- Line up melee enemies with pits or spikes before they hit you, since both sides get knocked back.
- Watch your shield durability; fallen enemies drop shards and hearts, and a spare shield appears if yours breaks.
- Push statues or barrels to fill pits and hold down buttons.
