Gather resources in the darkness Upgrade your abilities Automate your forge
Your lantern is the dwarves’ last hope.
Upgrade it, venture deeper into the caves, and return with your resources before it goes out…
Editor takes
“The mine-gamble-upgrade loop has a strong core, but unclear unlock timing and a hidden skill-tree close shortcut show the progression pacing still needs tuning.”
“Cozy browser pick-up-and-play with a lantern timer, but a missing mouse pointer and awkward menu controls make it fiddly for quick five-minute sessions.”
“Impressive jam-sized scope — mining, automating, gambling, and a lantern deadline — but stuck-dwarf and lingering-color bugs reveal the in-development rough edges.”
“Warm pixel art and the wobbling ingot stacks are lovely, though a missing cursor and sparse UI feedback dim the otherwise cozy retro presentation.”
How to play
Move through the caves to mine rocks, collect ore, and bring it back to your forge before the lantern goes out. Use gathered resources to upgrade your abilities and automate production. A touch of gambling adds risk to the resource loop.
Tips
- Keep an eye on your lantern and head back before it goes out, or you may lose what you gathered.
- Upgrade your lantern early so you can venture deeper and reach better ore.
- Bring back even basic ore—unlocking a resource can unlock its use in upgrades.
- Invest in forge automation as soon as it becomes available to reduce repetitive manual work.
- If you get stuck in the skill tree, try pressing Tab, E, or Esc to close it.
