What it is
An infinite, shared table of dominoes where every click starts a chain that anyone online can watch, extend, or rebuild.
From the developer
In the developer’s own words, from infinidomino.io.
Was thinking of other “infinite” type games I could make after making infiniword and thought of how fun it is to watch dominoes fall over.
Editor takes
“The falling chains have a clean, hypnotic inevitability, but with plain white dominoes on a flat grid and no sound design beyond a mute toggle, the whole thing feels like a tech demo stripped of any juice.”
“It's a single-mechanic sandbox with genuinely thoughtful controls and real-time shared chaos, but with no goals or scoring and barely any traction on HN, it's a neat fidget toy that never becomes a game.”
How to play
Click a standing domino to knock it over; a glowing arrow shows the direction it falls. Chains propagate on their own, curving across the table as dominoes are pushed from behind or the side, or knocked backwards when hit from the front. Click a fallen domino to stand it back up, but note that dominoes still mid-fall can't be caught. Keep chains alive by standing dominoes up in front of a running chain, or tidy up behind one for the next player.
Tips
- Pan with drag, WASD/arrows, or one finger; zoom with the scroll wheel, +/−, or pinch; rotate with right-drag or Q/E; tilt with right-drag up/down or R/F.
- Press J to jump to the nearest action, and again to follow the next chain; press G to go to any coordinates, e.g. 1000000, -42.
- The address bar always holds your position as #x,y,zoom, so you can share your spot with the link button.
- M toggles sound (on iPhone, turn off Silent mode); H or ? opens help.
Questions
Is the table really infinite?
Yes — every square of the table holds one domino, and the world extends indefinitely. You can jump to arbitrary coordinates.
Is it multiplayer?
Yes. Everyone shares the same table in real time; the site shows how many people are online, how many dominoes are falling, and how many are currently down.
Can I interact with other players' chains?
Yes. You can stand dominoes back up in front of a running chain to keep it going, or rebuild behind one so others can knock them down again.
