What it is

Hindsight is a daily browser game about crypto history. It shows a real price chart cut off before a famous moment, and you draw what you think happened over the following seven days. After you lock in your prediction, it reveals the actual candles and explains what happened and why.

Editor takes

BeaThe Jam Judge
“Tight daily scope—three one-minute rounds, no sign-up—and the chart-drawing hook does a lot with very little, though it's more a clever sketch than a deep game.”
JunoThe Puzzle Purist
“The scoring rewards shape, endpoint and direction, but without seeing how those weights work, the 'aha' of reading a chart can feel more like guessing than deduction.”
NicoThe Commuter
“Perfect for a lunch break: three rounds, one minute, no account, drag on your phone—though there's nothing to save because each day is a fresh one-shot.”
WrenThe Story Reader
“The real-world crypto stories add a documentary-like punch, but the sparse presentation leaves the drama mostly to whatever the candles imply.”

How to play

Drag across the shaded area on the chart to draw your predicted price line for the next 7 days. Lock in your line to see the real candles and receive a score out of 100 based on the shape of your line, where it ended, and the direction it went.

Tips

  • Use the context of the chart: it is cut right before a famous moment, so clues around the event can guide your guess.
  • Focus on getting the direction right first; it is a major part of the score.
  • Keep your line on the log-scale percentage axis realistic compared to recent moves.
  • A simple, smooth prediction is often better than a line with wild spikes.
  • Remember the 20x line is only hypothetical; don't treat it as a real trading target.
