What it is
Farflung is a daily geography trivia game where distance is the score. Each day brings five prompts, and for each you drop a single pin on the map before the clock runs out. The catch: every prompt has multiple correct answers, and the rarer your choice, the further your pin travels. It's a test of both geographic knowledge and how well you can guess what others won't.

How to play
Each day you receive five geography prompts. For each prompt, you place one pin on the map before time expires. The prompt accepts several right answers, but your score depends on how uncommon your pick is among all players. The fewer people who think of the same place, the further your pin carries you.
Tips
- Think beyond the obvious landmarks and capitals—obscure but valid locations often yield greater distance.
- Consider what most players would choose and deliberately avoid those spots if you know a valid alternative.
- Keep an eye on the timer; a quick but rare answer beats a perfect one that runs out of time.
