What it is
Rely is an automation puzzle game about turning unreliable components into a system you can trust. In the browser beta, you work through a guided tutorial and three scenarios, building conveyors and using logic-like parts to deliver dependable outputs.
From the developer
In the developer’s own words, from think-twice.me.
Here's a micro-game you can try out in your browser, sort of a puzzle game about trying to use unreliable components to sort out increasingly more reliable components.
Editor takes
“Wish I could grab this on mobile, but keyboard-and-mouse beta plus just three scenarios keeps it a desktop lunch break.”
“The rules are crisp and fair — unreliable parts, reliable goal — and the aha lands when you realize trust is something you engineer.”
“Strong jam energy: one clever mechanic, three scenarios, and a clean presentation that makes chaos feel studied rather than messy.”
“Three scenarios won't give you endless runs, but swapping sorters, counters, and markers makes one-more-build dangerously easy.”
How to play
Build conveyor networks and place components such as Sorters, Counters, Markers, and Marker-Gates to inspect and filter a stream of unreliable parts. Your goal is to deliver three 100% reliable components in a row, using the tutorial to learn the basics and then experimenting with your own layouts.
Tips
- Start with the tutorial to learn how each unreliable component behaves before building complex networks.
- Inspect components early so you can separate likely-good parts from likely-bad ones before they enter your main line.
- Use counters and marker-gates to keep track of what you have tested and to route only trusted components onward.
- If a build does not work, try smaller sub-sections and compare their outputs before connecting everything.
- Share your builds in the community Discord to see how other players solved the same scenarios.
