Editor takes
“Roguelite tech unlocks give each run a real sense of progress, but with four biomes and endless mode in the mix, I need to see if the upgrade pacing keeps the long loop tight.”
“Exploring between waves is a great twist on tower defense, but fairness hinges on how readable threats and event consequences are—an in-dev build has to earn those aha moments.”
“About an hour per run and keyboard-and-mouse controls make this a desktop commitment rather than a quick-break pickup, though the wave structure gives natural stopping points.”
“The colorful isometric sci-fi palette and hand-crafted pixel sprites are promising, but sound design and animation will need that same care before the presentation truly shines.”
How to play
Between waves, move around the map to scout locations and resources, then place and upgrade towers and traps to defend your base. Develop your economy and adjust your defenses as new enemies appear. Earn Technology Points from runs to unlock new defenses and upgrades for future attempts.
Tips
- Explore the map between waves to find hidden rewards and threats before they reach your base.
- Balance spending between economy and defenses; early income makes later waves easier.
- Upgrade existing towers rather than spreading too thin, but adapt to enemy armor and support abilities.
- Be ready for terrain changes between runs and reposition defenses accordingly.
- Spend Technology Points on permanent upgrades even after a failed run.
