Editor takes
“The keypad 1–9 directional shooting rewards precise input, but the disc-plus-button setup will test your muscle memory harder than your reflexes.”
“For a hobby project with AI-assisted code, four heroes, Intellivoice, and hundreds of dungeons squeezed into a retro cartridge is a remarkably ambitious scope-to-size ratio.”
“Four heroes with distinct stats plus random dungeon tricks like fake exits and the "IT" curse give every run a fresh excuse to die stupidly.”
“The Intellivoice growling "Elf needs food badly" is the kind of earnest, weird charm that makes a 40-year-old console feel alive again.”
How to play
Move with the disc, shoot with the top side buttons, use potions with the bottom side buttons, and aim with the keypad (1–9 for directions, 5/0/CLEAR to shoot where you're facing). ENTER pauses.
