What it is
Battle Healer Hildegard is a top-down roguelike healing game where you play the support role instead of a tank or DPS character. You cast healing and transmutation spells to keep your knights alive while villagers flee toward your keep, and use earned coin to buy new knights and upgrade the keep. It's a browser-based prototype still in early development.

In this game, you're not the tank, or DPS character - you're the healer. This is a top-down roguelike healing game. Cast powerful healing or transmutation spells to support your knights, and save the villagers fleeing towards your keep.

Controls
Mouse & Keyboard: Control Hildegard (player character) with WASD, place spells with mouse, click-and-hold left mouse button to cast spells
E : Press 'E' button to drink potions and to open shop
Number Keys (1-4): Pick Active Healer Ability
Space: Press and hold by city gate to start/end phase (stops and starts enemy wave attacks)

How to play
Move Hildegard with WASD and aim spells with the mouse, holding the left button to cast. Press E to drink potions or open the shop, use number keys 1-4 to select an active healer ability, and press and hold Space by the city gate to start or end enemy wave phases.
Tips
- Keep villagers alive whenever possible — saving them is one of your main sources of coin.
- Spend coin between waves on knights and keep upgrades to strengthen your defenses.
- Watch for new spells at levels 3, 6, and 9, and pick abilities that fit the current run.
- Use the city gate to pause or resume waves when you need time to reposition or prepare.
- Don't forget potions: pressing E can restore you or open the shop in a pinch.
